I wrote this song during a time in my life when I couldn’t deal with the realities of the mundane world. My spirit flung high into rich fantasies and dreams. Because of this, my daily life lacked true direction and responsibility. This sort of detachment entailed lack in many areas, including romance and love

As a society, we must honor the universal theme of the dark night, and take time to undergo these processes of transformation in order for society as a whole to become wiser and more compassionate and engender greater understanding of each other and ourselves.

The more the shadow is ignored, the stronger the hold its got on you. When we embrace the shadow, it unveils our true self within it.
